Questions You Might Have
1. Will I keep my same provider?
Answer: Yes! Your provider from the Community Fairbanks office will be able to see you at the new location with Turning Point SOC, if they choose to make the office transition. We also have a range of other providers who can help provide high quality care for your needs.
2. What if I can’t pay for services?
Answer: We care for patients regardless of insurance status or ability to pay. Our community resource navigators are trained to help you apply for financial aid, insurance, and other benefits, and can tell you what your options are. We also accept self-pay with a sliding fee scale based on income. Call us today to get answers to your questions.
3. What is the connection between Jane Pauley Community Health Center and Turning Point System of Care?
Answer: Jane Pauley Community Health Center (JPCHC) is a health network that provides primary care, behavioral healthcare, dental services, prescriptions, and more, regardless of a patient’s insurance status or ability to pay. JPCHC serves Medicaid, commercially insured, uninsured, and self-pay patients. In 2024, JPCHC took over management of TPSOC in Howard County (Kokomo) and added addiction recovery and community mental health services to the umbrella of entities. While TPSOC will be located in the same building with JPCHC in Shelbyville and Greenfield, the services maintain distinct identities.
4. Where will the new locations be?
Answer: The new TPSOC locations will be in the same office area as the existing JPCHC locations.
- Shelbyville: 1818 E. State Road 44, Between Rural King and the BMV.
- Greenfield: 1107 N. State Street, near Chicago’s Pizza
