What is a Recovery Coach?
Our team of certified recovery specialists and peer coaches offer lived experience to provide hope and support to assist individuals and families along their recovery journey. Our team observes best-practices to walk side-by-side to help individuals live their best life. We assist people with recovery planning, healthy living skills, coping techniques, personal growth, and strengthening support to give them the best chance of maintaining their recovery.
Recovery coaches assist individuals seeking long term recovery from mental health and substance abuse disorders. Recovery coaches are non-clinical with shared or lived experience with addiction who help individuals create their own recovery plans and discover their own recovery pathways. A unique relationship is formed based on trust. Recovery coaches serve as role models, while advocating and teaching empowerment. Recovery coaches educate on community resources and lead people to develop healthy coping skills and to be successful in long term recovery.
Recovery Coaches engage in a wide range of activities:

What is a peer?
1. What is a licensed peer recovery coach?
Answer: Peer recovery support walks side by side with individuals seeking long term recovery from mental health and substance use disorders. We are non-clinical with shared or lived experience in addiction. We help people create their own recovery plans and discover their own recovery pathways. We create a unique relationship based on trust. Serve as role models, advocate and teach self-advocacy and empowerment. We educate and on community resources and lead people to develop healthy coping skills and be successful in long term recovery.
2. What is the difference between a sponsor and a peer coach?
Answer: A recovery coach is more generalized while a sponsor is more program oriented. A recovery coach meets you where you are at in the readiness to change. A sponsor is responsible for assisting you through a 12 step program while adhering exclusively to the traditions.
