Membership requirements include participation in new member orientation, a weekly commitment to a recovery circle. No monetary cost.
Our Café Supports Include:
- Recovery Circles
- School of Recovery
- Sober Social Events
- Recovery Resources
- Café Space
Recovery Circles:
- Are the heart of the Recovery Café model.
- Circles are peer-facilitated by Certified Peer Coaches/Specialists.
- The focus of the Circle is mental health and substance use recovery; however, Peer Coaches also provide support to members who might have experienced trauma, loss, homelessness, and/or a disability.
School of Recovery:
We offer different educational opportunities such as financial training, FASFA education, Work One Opportunities, Yoga, Meditation, and many more. We are open to ideas that you may have for us at the Café.
Recovery Resources:
We are here to help connect you to resources that can help you! This could be things like food pantries, hygiene, peer coaching, counseling, or treatment.
Café Space:
The physical Café space is safe, structured, judgement-free zone where individuals can connect with peers, receive support, and access free meals.
- For individuals struggling with housing and food security, the Café Space is a “home base” where they can feel loved, accepted, and safe.
- Meals are also shared in the space to encourage connection amongst members.
