Who we are:
A recovery center for adults 18 and over offering withdrawal management (detox) for those persons with recent use of opioids, benzodiazepines, amphetamines, cocaine, and alcohol.
- Dual Diagnosis Center (substance abuse and mental health disorders)
- Accepts persons who are medically stable and able to move about the facility
- We serve only people who are not suicidal, homicidal, or experiencing psychosis
- As appropriate, we utilize medication assisted recovery (Suboxone, Sublocade, and Vivitrol)
Who should you bring to us:
Persons who are committed to stop using substances and are voluntarily wanting to participate in treatment program activities.
- Persons who are not actively suicidal, homicidal, or experiencing psychosis
- Persons should be willing to speak freely about substance use and mental health concerns
- Persons can be intoxicated but must be medically stable (B.A.C. < 0.25)
- Persons who need detox and are not appropriate for jail or hospitalization.
Who should you not bring to us:
- Persons who are a danger to themselves or others or experiencing a psychotic episode
- Persons who are medically unstable (i.e., recent seizure activity, recent unconsciousness)
- Please transport persons meeting the above criteria to a local ED for medical clearance
- Anyone under the age of 18
- Anyone who is greater than 20 weeks pregnant
- Anyone currently showing violent tendencies
- Anyone who lacks basic independent daily living skills (i.e., bathing, dressing, toileting)
What you can expect from us:
We will have a team member meet you and discuss your observations of the person you are transporting to us for assessment and to determine admission potential.
- We have a safe and secure lobby for you to drop the person off for admission
- You can stay or leave after transporting and talking with our staff
- If the person is not admitted for withdrawal management they can stay in the lobby until they can be seen by our rapid access / navigation team for further resource planning
