FAQs
1. How do I get into detox?
An individual needing recovery stabilization can show up at our Webster Street entrance or call 765-860-6466.
2. What should I bring to the recovery stabilization center?
Prescription medications in original bottles. Personal items will be provided. Cigarettes, if desired.
3. How long is detox?
Minimum of three days and up to 28 days.
4. What happens after detox?
Our professional medical staff will create an aftercare plan which may include long term rehabilitation or bridge clinic services which helps an individual re-integrate into their environment.
5. What is the earliest date/time I’ll be able to get in to see a mental health counselor?
This is based on our counselor’s availability. Please call 765-860-8365 to make an appointment.
6. What do I do if I am in crisis?
Call our crisis line at 765-860-8365 24/7 or come to Turning Point during business hours, Monday-Friday, 8 A.M. – 5 P.M.
7. Do you help with housing?
Our navigators can assist and provide resources to help obtain suitable housing.
8. What type of mental health services are provided?
Turning Point offers support for families affected by addiction, individual therapy, support groups, resource navigation assistance, and youth support groups.
9. What type of payment/insurance is accepted?
HIP and Medicaid are the only forms of payment accepted at this time.
10. What is the Bridge Clinic?
This program provides an avenue of continued care (including medication) after detox until long term care is established.
11. Does Turning Point offer methadone maintenance?
No, but Turning Point offers resources to transition from one medically assisted treatment to another. Contact the Bridge Clinic at 765-480-6385.
12. Can I come to detox if pregnant?
Yes, as long as you are 20 weeks pregnant or less.
