A Welcome Message from Executive Director, Jerry Landers
Hello, team!
I’ve been working in community mental healthcare for decades, but I must say, this is one of the most exciting chapters in my career.
I’m thrilled to help the Turning Point System of Care (part of the Jane Pauley Community Health Center network) expand into Hancock and Shelby counties, and serve more people.
With our resources, we’re able to add a whole menu of support services for your patients:
- Outpatient, group, and peer addiction recovery services
- Outpatient and group behavioral health services
- Affordable prescription services, delivered to your home
- Support such as food pantries, insurance navigation services, dental service in-network, and primary care in the same building
But we can’t do any of that without your help. We are already in the community, but you know your patients better than anyone. The trust and expertise you bring is irreplaceable.
I’m asking you to join me in this important work to help our communities. I promise we will do everything we can to support our team!
Looking forward to working together,
Jerry Landers, TPSOC Executive Director
Questions You Might Have
1. Why should I join TPSOC?
Answer: In addition to the benefits we provide for patients with support services, there are a lot of great benefits to working for us:
- Generous PTO policy: Full-time employees accrue 20 days per year or 6.15hrs per pay period. The rate increases with years of service. Full-time exempt staff receive 27 days of PTO per year. If you are not full-time, the rate is prorated for your work hours. Community seniority will transfer with you.
- Six paid holidays, no PTO used. (New Years Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day)
- Low-premium health insurance. (Anthem Blue Cross / Blue Shield in the 2025 – 2026 enrollment year)
- $1,000 retention bonus for transferring: $500 in your last paycheck from Community and $500 from TPSOC at six months post transfer.
2. Where can I learn more about benefits and compensation?
Answer: The TPSOC hiring team will be meeting with employees to discuss the transfer process, explain benefits, and answer questions. In the meantime, here are some resources for you to explore:
- TPSOC / Jane Pauley Community Health Center (JPCHC) Employee Handbook
- JPCHC Benefits Guide
- JPCHC 2024 Annual Report
3. What is the connection between Jane Pauley Community Health Center and Turning Point System of Care?
Answer: Jane Pauley Community Health Center (JPCHC) is a health network that provides primary care, behavioral healthcare, dental services, prescriptions, and more, regardless of a patient’s insurance status or ability to pay. JPCHC serves Medicaid, commercially insured, uninsured, and self-pay patients. In 2024, JPCHC took over management of TPSOC in Howard County (Kokomo) and added addiction recovery and community mental health services to the umbrella of entities. While TPSOC will be located in the same building with JPCHC in Shelbyville and Greenfield, the services maintain distinct identities.
4. Where will the new locations be?
Answer: The new TPSOC locations will be in the same office area as the existing JPCHC locations.
- Shelbyville: 1818 E. State Road 44, Between Rural King and the BMV.
- Greenfield: 1107 N. State Street, near Chicago’s Pizza
